A teenage eye cancer survivor from High Heaton will join Newcastle-based Paralympic swimmer Harriet Lee at Vision Express Metrocentre tomorrow (Thursday 20 February) – in a special visit to celebrate the store’s fundraising efforts which have raised more than £1,000 for a child eye cancer charity.
A teenage survivor of a rare type of eye cancer was welcomed at Vision Express Redditch on Saturday 4th January - to officially re-open the store following a major refurbishment. 13-year-old William Randall, from Bromsgrove, lost an eye to an eye cancer called retinoblastoma when he was a baby.
